The Retrometric – Crimson Slate by Brodo is a bold yet minimalist chronograph designed with sharp contrasts and clean proportions. Its matte black dial serves as a striking backdrop for vivid crimson red accents—most notably the chronograph subdial and central seconds hand—creating a design that feels purposeful and expressive without being overstated.
The layout is precise and balanced, featuring a single recessed 60-minute chronograph subdial, slim baton hands, and crisp white printed markers for legibility. The use of red is deliberate and minimal, drawing the eye to essential functions without overwhelming the watch’s clean visual structure.
The case measures 38 mm and is crafted from 316L stainless steel, finished in a mix of brushed and polished surfaces for subtle depth. A matching stainless steel bracelet with quick-release links ensures a comfortable and secure fit, while maintaining the cohesive, monochrome look.
